The theme of this study day is Does AI Unlock the Future?
Anyone involved in Geotechnical Engineering has noticed over the last few decades how the field has changed with the use of computers and the computing power they bring. Great strides have been made in recent years in 3D modeling of soil investigations, for example. It is therefore expected that AI will play an increasing role within probabilistic methodologies and in the field of machine learning. During this seminar, both the advantages and the pitfalls of deploying AI will be discussed.
Fundex is as an engineering partner in the field of foundations for many years developing its own software CPTex and the use of AI in the field of foundations.
