The Post Rotterdam project consists of transformation of the existing monument and a new 154 m high tower on a table structure.

Gustav Cornelis Bremer's former post office on Coolsingel in Rotterdam will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year (photo 2). Except for 23 bullet holes and a bomb blast on the Meent side, the building survived World War II relatively unscathed, but unfortunately it has been vacant for over a decade. For years there seemed to be no movement in the redevelopment of the national monument, but in April this year the first Tubex grout injection pile was finally drilled 65 m deep into the ground. The intended end result? A 154 m tall tower in the old courtyard and a monument restored to its former glory and transformed into a luxury 5-star hotel.
