Fundex Equipment Service (FMD)
- Fundex Equipment Services—which manages Fundex’s fleet of machinery—is equipped with a modern fleet, including four Fundex Equipment F3500 machines fitted with (partially) Stage V low-emission engines.
- All of the machinery runs on GTL (gas-to-liquid) fuel, which reduces local emissions of particulate matter, nitrogen oxides, and sulfur oxides.
- Wherever electrification is feasible, it will be implemented. For example, all grout injection pumps (currently diesel-powered) will be replaced with electric units.
- Each machine is equipped with a data logging system. This system records all drilling parameters for each pile and then transmits the data to the office. There, the data is further processed, analyzed, and presented to the customer in graphical form.
- The engineering department at FMD is responsible for improving and upgrading existing machines, as well as for the development and refinement of machine and drilling technologies.
- Finally, FMD has an experienced technical service team, consisting of technicians and welders/fitters, who can provide support when needed and respond immediately in the event of an emergency. Several fully equipped service and welding vans are available for this purpose.
