Fundex® Pull Anchor with Grout Injection
Vibration-free, cast-in-place, soil-displacing tension anchor, driven to depth using a steel guide tube and with the addition of grout injection.
Anchor dimensions:
Standard dimensions are:
| Shaft diameter [mm]: |
Recommended drill bit [ ] Drill bit diameter [mm]: |
| ø 250 | ø 250 |
Anchor length:
Approximately 30 to 42 meters. The anchor is installed from ground level. Consequently, the installation length is measured from the tip of the pile to ground level.
Reinforcement:
The anchors are equipped with a single-length central reinforcing bar. It is also possible to use a bundle of bars if necessary.
Grout:
The anchors are provided with a grout shell and a central grout core during installation. Various grout compositions can be used for this purpose.
Soil-bearing capacity:
NL: The bearing capacity is calculated in accordance with current EC, NEN, and CUR standards.
B: The bearing capacity is calculated in accordance with current EC, NBN, and CUR standards.
Procedure:
- A steel guide pipe, fitted with a detachable drill bit, is placed at ground level;
- The pipe is driven to the desired depth by applying axial pressure and torque while injecting grout;
- When the desired pile tip elevation is reached, a central reinforcing bar is placed inside the pipe;
- The pipe is filled with a grout mixture;
- The pipe is pulled out, causing the mixed-in-place grout shell to mix with the grout mixture. The drill bit remains in place;
- The anchor is now complete;
- The rig be moved to the next anchorage;
- After installation, the anchor can be fitted with a head plate that is cast into the structure.
- Vibration-free and 100% soil-displacing (no soil loosening or reduction in cone resistance)
- No risk of damage to adjacent properties during pile construction;
- A high towing capacity is permitted;
- No noise pollution, unlike with pile driving or vibration. The only noise is the drill motor;
- No soil discharge. Soil is pushed out to the side.
- The anchor can be installed at a deeper level.
Suitable soil conditions:
Fundex tension anchors with grout injection are well-suited for use in very heavy soil layers.
Bracing positions:
Up to 4:1 forward and 2:1 backward.
Work area:
Sufficient headroom and space are required for the installation of the Fundex tie rod.
Adjacent walls:
The anchors can be installed at a distance of approximately 0.9 m perpendicular to the adjacent structure. At recessed corners, this distance is naturally greater.
Available rigs:
Fundex F12SE, F15, F2800, and F3500.
Dimensions rigs:
Depends on type rig. Most common;
siding approximately 7 x 12 m. Height rig approximately 35 m.
Built-up weight variable from approximately 63 to 120 tons .
