SuperVibrex® pile

A ground-formed, driven, soil-displacing concrete pile constructed using a steel casing driven into the ground.

Specifications

pile dimensions:
In principle, all external pipe diameters are suitable. The most common pipe diameters are: ø273, ø324, ø356, ø406, ø456, ø508, ø556, ø610, ø711.
The base diameters can be made 50 cm larger than the pipe diameters in relation to the foundation.

pile length:
Up to approximately 35 to 40 meters. The pile cast to ground level.

Reinforcement:
The piles fitted with prefabricated reinforcement cages. For quality reasons, they are reinforced along their entire length.

Concrete:
The piles cast on site using concrete delivered directly from the plant. All strength classes can be used for this purpose.

Soil-bearing capacity:
NL: The bearing capacity is calculated in accordance with current EC, NEN, and CUR standards. 
B: The bearing capacity is calculated in accordance with current EC, NBN, and CUR standards.

Procedure:

  • A steel support pipe, fitted with a base plate, is placed at ground level;
  • The pipe is driven into the ground by means of pile driving on the top of the pipe;
  • Once the desired pile tip elevation has been reached, the reinforcement is placed inside the pipe after verifying that the pipe is dry and free of soil;
  • The pipe is filled with concrete mortar
  • Depending on the type of pile cap to be constructed, the pile casing is driven to a limited depth using a ring vibrator;
  • The pipe is refilled with concrete and hermetically sealed at the top, after which it is driven back into the ground until it reaches just above the pile tip level;
  • The tube is then pulled back completely, pile the final pile .
  • The rig be moved to the next pile location.

  • Well suited for use in uneven soil conditions;

  • A high load-bearing capacity is achievable even in soft soil layers;
  • Ideal for use as a compression or tension post;
  • High degree of concrete compaction achieved through vibrating pull-off.
  • No soil removal. Soil is pushed aside;
  • No significant disruption caused by the delivery of materials.

Suitable soil conditions:
SuperVibrex piles be used in virtually all soil conditions.

Bracing positions:
Up to 4:1 forward and 2:1 backward.
Working area:
Sufficient headroom and space pile required for the installation of the SuperVibrex pile .

Adjacent structures:
The piles be installed at a distance of approximately 0.9 m perpendicular to the adjacent structure. At recessed corners, this distance is naturally greater.

Available rigs:
Fundex F12S, F12SE, F15, F16, F2800, F3500.

rigs dimensions:
Depending on the type rig. Most common: footprint approximately 7 x 12 m. rig height rig 35 m.
Assembled weight varies from approximately 50 to 120 tons.
