Tubex® pile grout injection
Vibration-free, soil-displacing concrete pile with a permanent steel tube, driven to depth using a screw-type method with grout injection.
pile dimensions:
Standard dimensions are:
| Tube diameter [mm]: |
Recommended drill bit [ ] Drill bit diameter [mm]: |
| 168 or 219 mm | ø 310 |
| 324 or 355 | ø 450 |
| 355 or 406 mm | ø 560 |
| ø 457 or 508 | ø 670 |
| ø 609 | ø 850 |
| ø 762 | ø 950 |
A grout sleeve with the same diameter as the drill bit will be installed in the sand layers.
pile length:
In principle, unlimited. The pile head can be installed either at ground level or below ground level.
Reinforcement:
The piles (if necessary) fitted with prefabricated reinforcement cages. Depending on the requirements, they are reinforced at the top or along their entire length.
Concrete:
The piles (if necessary) cast in concrete directly at the plant. All strength classes can be used for this purpose.
Soil-bearing capacity:
EN: The bearing capacity is calculated in accordance with current NEN and CUR standards.
The following factors may be applied:
ap = 0.63
ß = 1.0
s = 1.0
as = 0.009
at = 0.009
B: For questions regarding load-bearing capacity, please contact our office.
Procedure:
- A steel pipe, fitted with a welded steel drill bit, is placed at ground level;
- The pipe is driven to the desired depth by applying axial pressure and torque while injecting a grout mixture;
- Once the desired pile tip elevation has been reached, the pile is pile ;
- The rig be moved to the next pile location;
- At a later stage, the steel tube is cut to the exact height;
- The reinforcement is installed inside the pipe;
- The pipe is filled with concrete;
- The pile now pile manufactured.
Advantages:
- Vibration-free and 100% soil-displacing (no soil loosening or reduction in cone resistance);
- No risk of damage to adjacent properties during pile construction;
- A very high load capacity is permitted;
- Ideal for absorbing large compressive and tensile forces and moments, and for limiting deformation;
- No noise pollution, unlike with pile driving or vibration. The only noise is the drill motor;
- No soil removal. Soil is pushed aside;
- Suitable for use in virtually all soil types;
- Suitable for use in areas with limited headroom or space;
- Capability to drill through masonry, cracked concrete, and existing wooden piles.
Suitable soil conditions:
Tubex piles grout injection are well-suited for use in very heavy soils with cone values up to approximately 80 MPa. In areas with very heavy soil layers, this system is a viable option because the pile tip level can be guaranteed. If you have any doubts regarding feasibility, please feel free to contact our office.
Drilling angles:
Up to 4:1 forward and 1:1 backward. It is also possible to drill up to 3:1 “sideways.”
Application:
The tubex pile grout injection can be used in both open and confined spaces.
Adjacent Structures:
Depending on the rig, the piles can be piles at a distance of approximately 0.5 to 0.9 m perpendicular to the adjacent structure. At recessed corners, this distance is naturally greater.
Executable rigs:
Fundex F10, F12S, F12SE, F15, F16, F2800, F3500.
All Tubex rigs.
Dimensions rigs:
Depending on type rig.
Setup area varaibel from approximately 2×3 to 9×14 m.
Height from approximately 2.5 to 48 m.
Built-up weight variable from about 13 to 120 tons.
