FUNDEX PROJECT: DRONGEN/GHENT BRIDGE ON THE E40

The bridge over the E40, which is over 70 years old, serves as the link between Drongen and Baarle; it is now in need of renovation. The severely outdated bridge will be completely demolished and replaced with a modern version featuring wide bike lanes and a full-width sidewalk. The Fundex Piling Group is supplying the foundation piles for the new bridge, which will be built in the spring and summer of 2025. On both sides of the bridge, 59 piles will be drilled using two machines.
