MIDAS is a project commissioned by Dr. Kolb at Moerdijk/Klundert and stands for "Moerdijk integrated and Designated alkoxylation System.

Midas consists of the following projects:

• Construction of a new reactor including heat recovery system, control zone, chemical storage and cooling water facilities.
• A logistics project with the extension of the tank park, loading/unloading station and a detour of the supply chain for materials.
• Extension of utilities such as electrical power, nitrogen, fire protection systems, office building and parking lots.

Together with Construction company van der Zande (main contractor) is foundation specialist Fundex to work. There will be about 75 Fundex piles and 5 Tubex piles with lengths of 22 meters to be installed. This distributed over these 4-5 locations on the plant. Because of the high demands on the factory, these piles must be installed vibration-free and soil displacement.
